My little French bulldog understood (I don't know how!) that it was for her and started jumping and barking for me to give it to her right away!!!! I took one for my Labrador too, same reaction!!! This morning, they had seen where I had put them and were waiting outside the cupboard door !!!! It stimulates them and they play together even more than usual! Chopin quickly realized that there were treats inside, and he played with the squirrel to try and extract, or rather drop, the little kibbles I'd put inside. By rolling the squirrel around and around, the kibbles end up on the floor.
When the toy is empty, he still plays with it like a ball, but when it's full of little treats, it's much more interesting.

My dog was a little bothered at first by the smell of vanilla (it's true that vanilla is quite strong), but the smell eventually faded.
It's a fun toy and a nice change from balls.
I think it's tough enough to keep the dog busy.

I don't leave it with my dog outside walks because he destroys all his toys, and even though it's a Kong he's on his second one after eating the 1st.
The only drawback is that it doesn't float.

I'm very happy with my purchase. It's easy to put on, easy to clean and fits my dog perfectly. I bought this vest so that we'd be visible to hunters, but afterwards I was advised to go for orange rather than yellow. I think I'll also buy a bell for added safety.
